On 19 October 2024, ESSEC APAC hosted the Student Ambassador Induction, welcoming 28 new ambassadors across five programs. This year’s cohort is the largest we have ever recruited, thanks to an overwhelming number of applications from 82 students.

The event provided essential training to equip these recruits with the skills and confidence to represent ESSEC and their programs.

The day began with an opening address by Yvonne Tan, Director of Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions, who welcomed the new ambassadors and highlighted their role in engaging prospective students, alumni, and corporate partners.

Following the welcome, members of the Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions team, Robin Yeo and Sheryl Ng, led an interactive training and brainstorming session. The activities gave ambassadors a clear understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and best practices for communication and engagement.

This session also encouraged ambassadors to exchange ideas and collaborate with the marketing team on strategies for connecting with prospective students. The day concluded with a networking session.

ESSEC empowered our ambassadors to represent the institution and support our outreach initiatives through this induction. We look forward to seeing their contributions in the coming year.
