Having grown up across Singapore, Malaysia, and South Korea, what inspired you to join ESSEC’s Global BBA program, and what made the Asia-Pacific campus in Singapore the right choice for you?

Growing up in multiple countries taught me to value immersing myself in a multicultural environment, an experience that inspired me to begin my undergraduate studies in Singapore, as for why ESSEC, its Global BBA program was a natural choice given its reputation as one of Europe’s top business schools and its strong emphasis on international exposure.

Ultimately, the Asia-Pacific campus in Singapore provided the ideal setting to develop my global business mindset further while staying connected to a region where I aspired to grow personally and professionally.

What career path are you currently pursuing?

Marketing! Ultimately, I aim to join a company whose values and mission resonate. ESSEC played a crucial role in helping me discover my aspirations by providing opportunities to explore different business sectors. Through coursework, hands-on projects, and real-world experiences, I’ve identified my interests and gained valuable insights into various fields within marketing.

Could you share more about your internship experience at Razer? What were your key responsibilities as a Product Marketing Intern, and what were your biggest takeaways?

As a Product Marketing Intern in Razer Singapore’s gaming chair division, I managed key brand collaboration projects, including the Razer x Transformers One partnership with Paramount.

It was an eye-opening experience, as I was also involved in influencer seeding initiatives for the Razer x Lamborghini chair and contributed to digital campaign planning to enhance brand awareness.

Looking back, I am truly grateful for this unique opportunity to take on responsibilities that many first-year interns may not typically have, such as directly engaging with major global brands and managing high-impact marketing projects.

What’s next for you in your ESSEC journey, and what are you most looking forward to?

I am excited to be part of the PKU Future Leaders Program in September 2025, a prestigious double-degree program at Peking University!

I chose this opportunity among the many exchange and double-degree programs available because I am eager to immerse myself in China’s business and cultural landscape while expanding my global network.

I’m incredibly excited about this once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I believe it will be invaluable for my personal and professional growth in the business world.

Looking back, what advice would you give to high school students interested in business studies or considering ESSEC?

Business is a lifelong journey of learning and discovery, and ESSEC offers the perfect environment to explore and find your true passion.

My advice to prospective students is to stay open-minded, take advantage of the diverse opportunities that ESSEC provides, and actively engage in experiences beyond the classroom.

Doing so will build a strong business and uncover the path that genuinely excites you.
