On 12 June 2025, ESSEC Asia-Pacific signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with L’Oréal – marking a new chapter in ESSEC’s long-running partnership with them. The MoU signing formalized and enhanced key areas of the partnership in hopes of expanding both organizations’ presence in the Asia Pacific region.

Professor Vincenzo Vinzi, Dean and President of ESSEC, underscored the significance of the MoU signing at the ESSEC APAC campus. More than just extending L’Oreal’s existing collaboration with ESSEC, this signing also establishes L’Oréal Business Learning Sessions at ESSEC and explores ways to grow the L’Oréal Young Talent Pool and Enhance Capabilities.

Mr. Hiromitsu Ota, Vice President, Regional Head of Human Resources of L’Oréal South Asia, Pacific, Middle East, North Africa, shared further insight into the L’Oréal SAPMENA and Brandstorm initiatives. He also echoed Dean Vincenzo’s sentiments on the promise that the signing of the MoU holds, describing it as a “win-win” partnership.

Following that, Professor Reetika Gupta, Deputy Dean of ESSEC APAC, and Mr. Ota signed the MoU.
