Established in 2005, ESSEC Asia-Pacific has cemented itself as ESSEC’s flagship campus outside of France, with its suite of full-time programs ranked top five in the world and number one in Asia.
Located at Nepal Hill, in the heart of one-north (the “Silicon Valley” of Singapore), ESSEC Asia-Pacific promises to shape the future of business education in the Asia-Pacific region. Established in 2005 as ESSEC’s first overseas campus outside France, Singapore was chosen for its strategic location as the gateway to Asia, a culturally vibrant hub for finance, communications, logistics, and information technology.
The campus is surrounded by a buzzing technopreneur community of venture capitalists, innovators, students, researchers, and media enterprises. It is home to world-class R&D, tech, and media companies. Organizations like P&G Innovation Centre, A*STAR, The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia), Canon, Fujitsu Asia, Garena, and Ubisoft are here.
As a hub for ESSEC’s activities in the Asia-Pacific region, the campus offers a dynamic environment that facilitates delivering quality business programs to students and participants, fosters partnerships with academic and corporate entities, and drives influential research initiatives.
At ESSEC Asia-Pacific, students from all over the world come together. With an annual intake of 950 students from 46 countries, spanning our six programs, the community is rich in cultural exchanges, encouraging our future leaders to embrace global perspectives and experiences.
ESSEC Asia-Pacific currently houses 16 student organizations in various areas, including sports, arts, volunteerism, and clubs dedicated to the professional development of students in fields such as finance and consulting.
There is always something to look forward to at the Asia-Pacific campus, from the Global Village event, where students showcase their nations’ heritage, to TEDxESSECAsiaPacific and iMagination Week, an event celebrating creativity and innovation, to Talent Day.
Students are actively involved in the Singapore community, participating in volunteer activities like beach cleanups and local sporting events such as the MBA Olympics held at Nanyang Technological University and the Dragon Boat Festival.
Nestled atop Nepal Hill at one-north Business Park, the vast compound, designed by renowned local architect Dr Liu Thai Ker, embraces both European and Asian architectures.
With the support of Singapore’s government agencies, the five-story, 6,500m2 ESSEC Asia-Pacific campus was built on 5,430m2 of land on Nepal Hill in one-north business park. The area is dedicated to education and innovation, and is home to academic institutions, business incubators, high-tech companies and world-class research facilities.
Officially inaugurated on 4 May 2015, the campus was designed by Singapore’s former chief planner and renowned architect-planner Dr. Liu Thai Ker, and symbolizes a bridge between the two worlds through a fusion of European and Asian architectural styles.
The campus allows ESSEC to further its growth ambition in the Asia-Pacific region. Through the campus, the school delivers quality business programs totally or partially taught in Singapore and other major cities, build closer ties with academic and corporate partners in the region, and develop influential research.
